Our client, a well known and respected company with long-term history is looking for a DevOps Engineer to enhance their team.


As a DevOps Engineer you will:

  • participate on various projects spanning across critical technical deliveries, regulatory initiatives and platform enhancements requested by the Product Owner or Business Users
  • working with technical leads and developers to understand application architecture and business logic to contribute to the creation and support of deployment strategies
  • diagnosing and providing resolution of defects found during SIT, QA and UAT test phases
  • providing operational stability of the application environments
  • ensuring code written meets predefined company and department standards
  • working with global and multi-disciplinary delivery teams
  • close cooperation with the Developers, Business Analysts, Architects and Project Managers in regard to all aspect of of analysis, design, implementation and deployment of software related to the in-scope applications
  • contributing to the delivery of complex projects in collaboration with global teams across the company to develop new or enhance existing systems


Our client is looking for 2 experienced DevOps Engineers for 2 different teams.

For the DevOps team you will need to know:

  • Windows environment (as their servers run on Windows)
  • AWS cloud or Azure
  • CI/CD
  • SQL
  • and some of the following – Chef, Ansible, Jenkins, Powershell

For the Platform DevOps team you should know:

  • Java (and Python is nice to have)
  • Jira
  • Confluence
  • and some of Bitbucket, Bamboo, Teamcity

Skills that will help you in the role:

  • stakeholders management skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels and build sustainable relationships
  • you must have an Analytical/problem solving mind-set
  • ability to work within a high performing team and contribute to overall objectives/best practices
  • general knowledge of Agile, DevOps, Source Control, Unit and Integration testing, Continuous Integration, Release Management, and Software Development practices
