For our client, the worldwide famous US company, operating the most famous American internet auction hall, we are looking for a Software Engineer, with a passion for providing scalable and maintainable software solutions.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As a SW Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing the architecture of MSLib software, leading technical discussions, and making key decisions. You will be the technical point of contact for the team and participate in coding, primarily focusing on template design using Freemarker, HTML, and CSS for email rendering.

Here’s a glimpse into what you’ll be doing daily:

  • Design and development of MSLib – a sophisticated framework of reusable templates for email modules
  • Oversee the MSLib project from an architectural standpoint, maintaining a maintainable, reusable, and scalable codebase using modern software design patterns and clean code practices.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to design solutions, maintain and develop MSLib, and translate solutions into MSLib architecture.
  • Collaborate directly with stakeholders and QA teams to capture requirements and maintain high software quality standards
  • Implement or delegate tasks to other developers, ensuring effective project management and timely delivery.

WHAT WE EXPECT FROM YOU

    • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as software engineering or related IT fields preferred.
    • Proven experience in designing and developing IT systems, with expertise in software architecture.
    • Proficiency in Freemarker, HTML, CSS, and their application in email development.
    • Familiarity with at least one modern high-level programming language and framework (e.g., Java/Spring, JavaScript/React, Python/Django).
    • Experience in software design, software architecture, and adherence to modern software development standards.
    • Comfortable with tools such as Jira (with Scrum), Git, and Figma.
    • Fluency in English is a must – communication over the cross-country team.
