Are you a software engineer with knowledge of C#/.NET? Are you tired of offers in banking, TELCO, insurance and looking for an interesting project with real impact? You will work in a Czech branch of a Danish company delivering tailormade solutions in various types of water environments: agriculture, energy, climate change, groundwater, ecosystems, and environmental risk.

JOB DESCRIPTION

In this unique position you will build open source platform and coordinate SW engineers contributing to its development.

Stack to Work with:

  • Backend is primarily in C#, .NET Core, ASP.NET
  • GitHub and Azure DevOps for issue tracking, bug reporting, code versioning (Git), and deployment

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  • Mid-senior level in programming
  • Comprehensive experience with C#
  • Experience with long-term maintenance of a code for wider use by other developers, or contribution to open source projects, or similar experience.
  • Interest in discussions with consumers of components to ensure continual improvement
  • Focus on documentation
  • Good communication and presentation skills, professional spoken and written English

Beneficial Skills:

  • Interest in creation and maintenance of libraries and components for use across solutions and services
  • Strong focus on unit testing principles, ideally using XUnit and Moq
  • Experience with spatial, temporal, or multidimensional data processing is an advantage
