My client is based in US and was looking to spin off a new company, they needed to build out their Global security organization to support, and staff, security services internally and for their end client.

JOB DESCRIPTION

The senior program manager will be part of the CIO Transformation, Strategy and Roadmap team.  The Senior Program Manager will need to be able to work across functions within a global matrix management environment.  This role will work across IT and Business teams to understand scope of applications, identify applications to be sunset, migrated or replaced, and manage the transformation roadmap in their assigned segment.

As a program manager, responsibilities will include an array of activities: 

Discovery and organization of project definition and scope

Responsible all phases of program management including detail project plan, risk management, issues and action log

Developing project cost structure, contracts, tracking and reporting project deliverables, 

Managing risks and risk mitigation plans, issues and delivery to plan 

Applying project management processes and tools

Track budgets, schedule, resource utilization

Manage the funnel of application disposition and transformation projects including:

Interlock with other teams with dependencies and requirements 

Assist with business case requirements and development 

Interlock with Transformation team on case for change 

Manage transformation showcases with executive teams and stakeholders

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Required Professional and Technical Expertise :

PMI-PMP certification or Scrum Master Certification preferred or equivalent formal training/experience

Bachelor or equivalent

Ten years appropriate industry experience

Proven delivery track record

Skills and Abilities (individual capabilities) :

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and influencing skills

High level of flexibility with the ability to adapt to change

Experience in deployment and knowledge of enterprise systems  (mandatory)

Mastery level experience of creating detailed cross functional project schedules (mandatory)

Proven ability to manage diverse cross-functional teams to drive action items, risks, dependencies to closure (mandatory)

Proven track record managing multiple projects involving systems, software, and network hardware

Comfortable running high-profile complex projects and working directly with company executives

Software and project management tools – ServiceNow, Jira, Trello, Slack, Office 365 and other collaboration tools (mandatory)

Understanding of Agile behaviors, tools, and techniques (collaboration, work breakdown, automated testing, Scrum, Kanban (mandatory)

Sound knowledge of how information and technology contributes to business performance 

working knowledge of information and technology industry trends and issues (desirable)
