  • Functional Checking/Tests of complete switches and system at a deeper level than End Of Line tester
  • Interpretation of Internal and Customer/Supplier Data Sheets, Specifications and Requirements 
  • Responsibility for test procedures and documentation
  • Parameter Testing – Including CAN Bus signal testing/LIN Bus Signal Testing
  • Identification of Electronic and Mechanical Failures
  • Function tests at component level
  • Selection of appropriate measurement and analysis methods and equipment
  • Measurement – Eg. Oscilloscope or Dimensional/3D/CT Scans etc.
  • Preparation of summary reports for internal and external use
  • Communication internal with teams and also externally with customers
  • Interface Operations, Supplier Quality Assurance and Supplier Development Teams
  • Very close cooperation with the R&D department in the BCS headquarters in Germany
  • Use Structured Problem Solving Techniques Eg. 8D/Ishikawa/Six Sigma etc. to effectively determine the root cause of defective products and components


  • Minimum High School Diploma in Electronics or relevant study
  • English B1 (daily communication with R&D departments regarding technical topics)
  • Programming of communication interfaces (USB, TCP / IP, K-Line, LIN, CAN, Flexray, JTAG)
  • Vector Tool chain (CANoe, CANapy, CANalyzer, etc) or experienced with similar tool
  • Electrical Background, Mechanical Background, Measurement Data analysis, 8D/Poka Yoke, Six Sigma or similar problém solving techniques
  • 4 – 6 years of experience in similar position
