For a leading global IT company with headquarters in the US, we are currently looking for a Senior Forensic Analyst who will be working fully remotely backed by a global team, and a very attractive salary is offered.

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will be responsible for conducting forensic investigations and analysis in support of cyber incidents that are reported to the Incident Response team. This role will require the ability to triage and conduct thorough examinations of all types of digital media across a diverse environment, the ability to determine containment and/or remediation activities that may be required as well as identify potential threats. Reporting and collaborating with the different areas of business is required.

• Perform initial security investigation and triage
• Request or run vulnerability scan
• Review security alerts
• Incident escalation

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• 5+ years of overall IT experience
• Experience with forensic investigations and tools (Encase, FTK, Axiom Magnet, Black Bag, SIFT, Kali)
• Working experience with SIEM solutions 
• Knowledge of Networking technology and tools, firewalls, proxies, IDS/IPS, and encryption
• Windows and Linux experience
• Experience with various phases of security incident response
• Understanding of incident response methodologies
