HW quality specialist with fluent English

We are looking for a technically oriented candidate with IT background and advanced English. 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

• Inspecting computers and printers returned during warranty period that had been recommended for special diagnostics
• Replication of issues that could not be solved by authorized repair centers
• Identification of the root cause of the reported behaviour
• Gathering information concerning quality trends for individual product lines
• Documenting inspection details for future reference
• Coordination with other teams involved in ensuring that the returned devices get fixed according to the company guidelines and recommendations
• Regular reporting

CANDIDATE PROFILE

Expected education and experience:

• Secondary school with technical specialization or a University degree
• Relevant experience with computer hardware and software (dis/assembling parts, computer diagnostics, running performance tests, repairing defects etc.)
• General interest in computer science and the current IT trends
• Manual skills needed for computer handling, including the use of various hand tools
• Ability to understand technical manuals, procedural documentation and OEM guides
• Analytical skills, strong time management, attention to detail
• Fluent English (both written and spoken)
